Several years back we purchased a fireplace insert, as well as the mantel, from Menards. It has always had a grinding sound when the flame wheel is turning.

The lights that light up the flames will not burn even after changing the 3 bulbs several times to no prevail. I tryed to explain to twinStar. I ordered a switch control and they sent me a *** which didn't even fit my insert. On numerous occasions I have complained and even made complaints on their facebook page.

I am truly pissed off to have a fireplace that won't light up. The model is TwinStar 33E01.

Similar issue, and what's more frustrating, the downlight bulbs seem to be inaccessible. The instructions only say there are lights, no instructions to change them.

Cannot pull off the front glass as it's bolted from the inside. Looks like I have to completely dismantle the fireplace to replace 2 bulbs!

pull down the glass on the top of the pretend logs are circle knobs top left side and right side unscrew.. There they are!
